Jim Crow Day Monday the 25th

Addison Behavioral Care in Wilkinsburg is hosting the Second Annual Jim Crow Day. It's an interactive experience that is designed to bring awareness to anti-racism work and the history of our country surrounding Jim Crow laws.
It's a day long, free event, at Addison. People can stay for 20 minutes or 2 hours. After people go through the different scenarios (segregated classroom, movie theatre, a bus, etc.) there will be a debriefing room (led by Tami Dixon and Mary Parker) to begin a conversation about individuals experiences. We also want to give people info on what else is going on in our city to combat racism.

The event is Feb. 25th from 11-5. Monday
